    MrPaul.

Nope. I haven’t had any issues with the cut surfaces. The laser does a nice job burning the edges…. the edges of my base have chipped a little but these were cut on a table saw and do not seem to do anything to the integrity of the base… o

on another note. I haven’t worked on mine in about a week. I am packing and getting ready to start another quarter of school in Cincinnati. So once I’m all settled in I’ll get all the electronics done and see what happens.

No they are shorter then listed in the instructions. I have a longer set if the racking becomes an issue. The longer ones cut down on the Y axis cut size so I’m going to give it a try and see what happens. I have some thoughts of adding another set of bearings and vertical wall for them to roll against. Once its up and running I’ll toy around with that.

Lots of progress. Everything is all together. Just waiting on the transformer and I’ll start soldering everything for the driver board this week. I used the dremel 300 instead of the 395.

Great thanks for the info. I have been talking to my brother (IT guy). He said hes got enough spare parts to build a desktop that can run everything. It would be great though in the future if using a laptop could be possible.
