i am thinking converting diylilcnc to 4d printer with an extruder unit. but i need some tips to increase the range of z cart , if we forget the limitation of dremel tool we use what is total range of zcard

The basic range of Z is about 2". To extrude past that depth, you may need to redesign the entire Z cart (as opposed to just sticking an extruder to the front of the sled).

Many 3D printers have beds that drop down as printing material is deposited--the DIYLILCNC could be adapted to have the 4th axis be a table height control motor. The extruder could be controlled with a serial connection, much like a coolant attachment, to just be on or off.
