Very Good work paul,
Cnc is every hobbyist's dream, But not every one can afford a cnc from market.
This is where people like you step in a and provide very useful knowledge about making things ourselves which not only reduces the cost to a great extent but also provide the satisfaction of having done a great thing.
I am from India and the diy situation here is very different.
Cost of material + knowledge of material and its working is very hard to get by.
i am very much interested in making a cnc machine my self for my home use.
So i was requesting , if there is any way i could get step by step instructions on assembling a diy cnc, What is type of material size , thickness, its alternatives where to purchase these items from . I dont think there are any laser cutting services for mdf or wood nearby to where i stay . Acrylic is freely available. Also where to get the controller and software for running this cnc, Is the controller diy possible.
Also if anyone from india is mamber of these forums .it could be of great help.
